i want to give reciprocal link for my site so where i will give it
to the home page or some other page

 

First target your main pages that inner pages with proper keywords.

 

Find out the best concerned website that is relevant to your website and PM its administrator for the reciprocal link..

 

That is depend on requirement and location of targeted keywords.

 

my concern is about wether it will affect my PR........ if i place the directory reciprocal link on top page of my site
or if i have same related page inside it will be better to put there ?

Dont waste time and money in reciprocal directory, Google don't give much importance to such a back-links as there is no meaning of this kind of links regarding value of your site and seo of you site.
Google counts backlinks as a vote given to your site to build credibility of your site on internet market, while it is clear that, there is no meaning of giving vote to each other like reciprocal links.
