Hello, As you well know lots of people want a reciprocal link if you ask them to link with you. How would it effect google and the other search engines if you created a subdomain and used that for the links? Supposedly a sub domain is separate from the main domain so it should not effect your outgoings links. I was contemplating doing something like this: www.assetplay.net - main domain partners.assetplay.net - link domain Of course both would look exactly alike but the sub domain would only be one page of links. Thoughts?
Interesting question. I wish I had the answer to that one. Hopefully someone has a for sure answer on this.
Yea, would kind of spoil the reason of linking. Basically the idea would be to email the webmaster with: ----------- Sir, I would like to do a link exchange with your great site. I have added your page here: www.#.com Could you please ad my page with this code? code goes here Thanks, ----------- Are you pretty sure it doesn't effect the actual domains out going links? Don't want to be known as a link farm
This thing won't work, at least, it'll be an ordinary reciprocal link exchange. SE are smart enough ... You'd better use 3 way link exchange, where you have 2 related websites, I mean belonging to one and the same niche, you place a link to a partner on one site and get a backlink to your other website. Your 2 sites should not be reciprocated either.
