i want to send out a ton of link exchange requeste to owners of websites i find in google. is there some software that can help with this task? possibly something where i input a keyword and message into the software and it emails the first 100 sites requesting a link swap love to hear some quality input on this please
First of all, why? Link exchanges are certianly not the most effective use of your time. I can see doing a few link exchanges, but tons? Why? Any time you have to give a link to get a link, you're at a disadvantage. What you really want is ONE WAY links on high quality, very relevant sites with solid PR. Second, have you already compiled the list of emails you want to send to? Or are you looking for software that will do everything for you?
- Does it matter why i want to do what im doing? - I will be the judge of how best to use my time and i work only in pareto style anyway! - This is just your opinion and does not matter - No, I already said, i want a piece of software that does it all for me. I believe web ceo has such a feature, can anyone confirm this? or suggest a cheaper alternative
Jac I'd avoid using that technique as it was outdated many years ago now. I think it's one of the features on SEO Elite, try that out
Well it matters because I was going to try to help you, and make sure you knew that link exchanges are a waste of time for SEO. But if you're dead set on them, be my guest.
HI, i can be the "software" you are looking for, please visit my thread http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=1573083 Simon
Dude, you know nothing of my intentions or knowledge. I have been doing SEO for over 5 years and I can assure you that I have gained ranks for keywords with competition you could only dream of reaching. I asked for some advice on software to perform a task, rather than discus the software I mentioned, you decide to jump in and tell me its a waste of time and I should listen to you. Did I mention anywhere that I was doing this for SEO? NO, so you just assumed it was. Anyway I got a copy of webceo and set it up with my details and it does everything i needed, it is limited though so i got the professional edition to remove the limits, been sending out emails all night long and already regained a quarter of the investment.
Wow, what an incredibly poor attitude. You ask a question, someone comes along to give you a hand, and you insult them. With with that attitude, I'll be surprised that anyone will ever want to help you with anything. I suppose by your comments that you think 5 years is a long time. FYI, Your experience pales in comparison to mine. I've been into link development and SEO before Google was even the top search engine. I've worked on SEO teams for fortune 500 companies. But that's ok, you thnk whatever you want. I assumed you were interested in this for SEO because you posted in in the 'Link Development' forum, which is, you know, part of SEO. I suppose the real reason you want software that does this is so that you can relentlessly spam. My bad, I thought you actually had good intentions. Anyways, it's doesn't matter. I suppose you've found what you're looking for. Have fun with your spam tactics and 'reciprocal' links. I'm sure they'll get you far, lol.
Man, your attitude stinks JAC. Why so hostile. The man was just trying to help. I bet future members will think twice before tying to help you again.
Huh. Another child of SPAMMERS. Think from the good webmasters' and users side. If you're on their position, what do you feel when you receives spams???????
Lets just clarify, Im no spammer, this whole exercise was to promote my niche directory, its a highly ranked niche directory which charges for a review. Requesting a link exchange is just the ice breaker to enable possible paid reviews of clients sites rather than just a free link exchange.
