The domain-name recipes.name (GD) alone was bought for low xxx. Created on: 30-Jan-04 Expires on: 30-Jan-07. The Keyword Recipes is consistently at the top searched keywords. It got 76,178.0/day searches (for recipe) by ovt and 19,779.0/day searches (for recipes) by Wordtracker. With the right SEO a strong keyword can go very high no matter what the ext is. The domain has google PR3.

The Site
Recipes website with more than 21,000 recipes. 240MB of html pages. There are ~9,900 indexed pages.
There are some broken recipes links from the index pages. You can deal with it with either run some script that will clean the broken links, or do what i do - instead of 404 error page it shows a "this recipe will be updated soon" page with a link to the previous page. This way you won't lose the surfer. As mentioned tho there's some broken recipes links there are still more than 21,000 recipes !! that's a lot anyway
The site has low traffic & revenue since it has never been advertised.

You paid low $xxx for that domain? I dont see why you think its so valuable. .name domains arnt ideal because people never remeber to type in .name as aposed to .com or .net

Anyway, can you show some revenue?

 

As i said the traffic and revenue are low. It made $5 with adsense in the last few months...

Joch - Yes, I paid that much because with this amazing keyword i believe it was worth it.. Unfortunately I don't have time to devote for it anymore..

 

I find it this a very highly-Over priced offer. It will be hard for you to find a buyer on DP try ebay - may be u get one !

Or you can try to sell only content to multiple people, keep domain to your self only. May be you may find find buyer this way.

What did you use to generate the HTML pages and is there an admin tool? Are there includes for navigation and footer?

 

There are no includes or admin tool.
It's plain html and you can replace these parts by runing an edit program on all of the pages (such as "Advanced Find and Replace), running a script, or i can do the necessary edits for you for an extra fee.

 

Well, how did you create these pages then? Is that application available with the site?
