meby u can change ur with background with nice colour like purple or soft green... IMHO but overal ur design is great..nice look
The site looks attractive and wonderful recipes collection. I found that there is a problem with scrolling, some little bit of background on both sides are scrolling with the content, check it out..
1) Logo is good , but Logo Font can be changed !!! 2) Instead of search "Cook It " is so catchy !! 3) BkGrnd Color and image needs to be changed !!! doesnt match with ur theme!! Content can be reduced !!! As of now three sets of dishes occurs in rows !!! 2 rows is enough !!! Instead of putting all dishes in no order , you can create menus using dishes types and then put all dishes under the menu accly !!! For eg !! Veg & Non Veg , Pastry , Dessert, Soup Corner etc !!! Under NonVeg Sub Menu on Chicken, Fish etc and u can put all chicken dishes under Chicken Menu !!! This helps visitors to search easily and makes the site appears in an order 4) With Each Dishes , you can mention in note the Calorie Content or the food things in the dish etc !! 5) Images of the dish in the home page can be more catchy !!
I find that using Firefox 3.0.1 the layout is all screwed up. It's not overly bad, it's just that the text under each recipe at the top of the page is pushing the links numbered 1 - 13 down and the higher numbers 10 - 13 are not displaying correctly. This is also carried through for the middle and lower sections and in fact, no footer is displayed at all.
The background needs changed, the header could do with some kind of banner that is making you income and if you compartmentalised some of the recipes that would help too. Hope this helps
specially liked the domain name, will comment after looking, ok, looked, the site ,or rather the page! is informative, but you should have some links and maybe put some video also, good potential
The site is not intuitive to me because it has such a different navigation method. I personally like the background image...reminds me of a table cloth, but maybe something more "mainstream" like red and white check would be more fitting.
