Recipe Site for Sale: Over $3,000 revenue per month

I'm interested in selling http://www.divinerecipes.com if the offer is right. The current revenue breaks down as follows:

November AdSense: $195.52
November Clickbank Revenue: $2,950.87
November Total: $3,146.39

Expenses:
AdWords: $1,106.06
Hosting: $25.00
Total Expenses: $1,131.06

November Profit: $2,015.33

I can provide proof of revenue and expenses to serious buyers only by PM, that can offer $20,000 or more for this site.

I spend about 15 minutes per day on the site doing the following:

1. Blog & Ping: 1 recipe is added daily to http://divinerecipes.blogspot.com and the I use pingomatic.com to ping the feed sites.

2. I check Clickbank orders and answer any questions customers may have (usually 1-2 emails per day)

That's it.

With the sale, I'll sell the Adwords account, so you can keep the revenue coming. Also, a large number of affiliates sell this product through Clickbank. It's currently #2 ranked in the Home & Family > Cooking & Recipes marketplace.

Reason for selling is that I'm building a new house and we'll move in this April. I'm looking to gather up extra cash for the move and simplify my life. I have a number of other sites, a full time job, wife and daughter, so it's time to sell.

Maybe i am wrong here but looking at this quote from your post

i am doubting about you being serious since adsense and adwords accounts can not be sold or transferred if i am correct.

If i am wrong here then considder this post as never been made but i do think other members input is needed as well to ascertain if adwords accounts can be sold.
But in my oppinion this isn't possible and therefor i am doubting this sale offer and it's value of being trustworthy.

 

Is the site pulling any natural search engine traffic?

 

Edz - To transfer to your Adsense account, it would just be a swap of Publisher ID's. I have other Adsense sites, so I'm not selling the account itself. For the Adwords, I'd provide you with the list of keywords I use in the AdWords account and the ads. Or, I could just provide you with the login to that account to manage it for the site.

l234244 - The site gets all of its Adsense revenue based on natural traffic. In November, that worked out to 22,057 unique visitors with 155,751 page views. It doesn't rank well on general terms, like "recipes", but rather it picks up a lot of niche traffic from people searching for individual recipes. There's also a Toolbar I forgot to mention that brings a fair amount of repeat visitors. Feb 05 - $1867.54
Mar 05 - $2996.85
Apr 05 - $502.56 (took the copycat cookbook down to rework)
May 05 - $135.59
Jun 05 - $189.33
Jul 05 - $278.22
Aug 05 - $364.55
Sep 05 - $893.96 (restarted advertising the copycat cookbook)
Oct 05 - $2225.27
Nov 05 - $2950.87

Adsense hovered between $100 - $150 per month over the year, with this month being the best so far (The Google Jagger update was good to the site).

The content is from purchased databases and eBooks with resell rights (the cookbook collection). A lot of the revenue is now driven by affiliates on Clickbank. Starting in the end of September, I started the copycat cookbook up again and started promoting it.

How can you say $3,000 per month if you only hit that figure twice in the last 10 months? I think you need consistant earnings before you can claim something like that

This is not a joke. But the site must have at least a year of run time. Then we can make you a offer over 20k.

Yes, and that domain/site comes with the purchase as well. I use that for the landing page for the Adwords campaigns.

I think I've seen you around the office as well.
