I havent checked on this site for a while, but I'm seeing that it is receiving no weight at all... Only weight in the account is via a referral...

    The site:

That is very strange since the site is showing 25k+ pages indexed in Google. I would have expected a weight of at least 8-10k...

On the other hand I have this one site with 120k pages indexed and 2 weight.. heh

This is definitely a rare occurance. The majority of my sites have quite good weight, and I have nothing to complain about.

That's not always the case. Many times, even supplementals give good weight.

I show session ID's. Also I'm pretty sure that supplemental results don't give weight as smindsrt said, the pages have to be cached.

Personally I've seen it happening with several of my old sites.. for e.g. when I decided to retire previous cached content.. and 301 thousands of old pages to the index of the new site.. weight remains stable for months even after the old pages go into the supplemental index and loose their cache.. that's enough proof for me.

Its happening on 2 of my sites right now...

I talked about this a week or two ago... I think its a little short sided to only base the coop weight on google - Im still serving ads and even if a page isnt giving Google weight, it is giving yahoo weight.

We should thing about doing some kind of average between google and yahoo indexed pages. In my humble opinion of course.

Here we go again  ......my site that was giving no weight for a couple of weeks went up to 30k...that lasted about two weeks....yesterday it went back to 0.
I have spent 30 minutes constantly re-validating but it won't budge off 0.
It was 36000+ for a long time and it should still be there.

Nothing has changed, same amount of pages and same PR.

This inconsistancy in the weight is really bugging me, I am being penalised for something I have no control over.....the time lag before my impressions get back to where they should be is a penalty in itself and in the meantime I am serving other peoples adds on a PR5 site with 90k pages  .

The time lag for your impressions to start going down due to a weight loss is 48 hours if my memory is correct.... more than enough to get your weight back, so don't worry about it

Looking at my stats the impressions started to drop off yesterday and have dropped by one third already.

They had come back from 0 nine days ago when the weight returned from the last time it went to 0.

It takes about three weeks to reach it's full potential so...there is something to worry about, especially since I don't know when the weight will return.

Its happened to me many times, weight goes to 0 and won't come back validating manually, I just leave it like that and let the validator script do its routine check and I always get the weight back.

I'm sure Shawn will step in to confirm this, but loosing your weight for one or 2 days shouldn't cause any harm due to the cache the coop uses

Hello, I just joined this Co-op Advertising Network.
As far as I can tell, everything went correct but, when I returned to http://www.digitalpoint.com/tools/ad-network/ to view Validate/Calculate Weight Now all I see is:

    Base: 0
    Consolidation: 0
    Referrals: 0
    Your Weight: 0

    My Forum addy is: http://war2peace.myfreeforum.org/index.php

Can anyone explain to me how this BIZ works a bit ?

OK, I did correct the above when you first pointed this out but,
I increased from zero to one since then.
I have over 200 pages yet, google doesn't see anything beyond the first page.
How would I check which pages are indexed in Google ?

I've done that as well to no avail.
In my keywords, I have ' Democracy, Silence, Permission ' as the base words along with others.
My signature which appears on each page reads: In a Democracy, Silence IS Permission.

When I searched for those three keywords absolutely nothing showed up in the results.
I also searched using backlinks and found nothing for my website but 15,000+ for the links which appear on various pages.

Try and see where your terms are in Yahoo or MSN...they will show up their 12 months before they rate in Google  .

Making sites full of supplemental pages to cheat the system for a couple of months ruins the quality of the network... really...
