Domain with .mobi extension is not very popular, but as invest,it's worthy if you really can find some valuable and attractive domains. So have a try.Wish you good luck.

The .mobi value has been declining even before the recession.

It's risky and finding end users is not easy at the moment.

personally I don't see much growth in the .mobi market

stick to quality .com if you truly want to invest in something that will keep it's value in the long term

Lots of .mobi are getting dropped, it's not a good investment for a domain flipper...

Wow, that's a total case of dumb luck on the seller's part.

At this point, I thought .mobi's would start doing well since more and more people are using iPhones for internet access, and more and more sites are asking developers to make smart phone friendly versions of their sites, but that doesn't seem to be the case.

I don't recall the domain name but Rick Schwarzt bought a domain with .mobi extention last year for $400,000. So he must know something. But then again a lot of experts some times make mistake also so who knows. And this is the guy who has made millions and still makes millions a year in domain industry. He just sold candy.com for $3 millions

I would advise you not to waste your money on this extention. It has crashes significantly & has been a failed extention IMO. You won't be able to reg the very good keywords anyway as they were all taken ages ago.
