hi, i am having some trouble with wire transfer.. i have idbi bank acc..i sold some virtual goods to a person in romania..he paid via alertpay.. i withdraw my funds...everything went well and the bank called me to fill a form..provide proof etc.. they ask me the name of remitter and country.. i dont know his name etc only his email...i asked bank employee he should just write alertpay..he said no you must specify a persons name..he gave me the form.. i have to fill in country of remitter.. name and reason for transfer.. should i write canada in country(alerpay is canada base) or romania i recieved in euros.... and what to write in name and reason..please help me...that bank employee is of no help
Why you are not asking with that guy who transferred the funds to you. He/She will assist you better.
There is something I didn't get very well. You sold virtual goods to a guy, the guy pays you using alertpay, and then you withdraw the money from your alertpay account using bank wire. if that is the case then the remitter is Alertpay Inc and the country canada. You can as well contact alertpay and they will show you details of the transfer.
i know remitter is alertpay.. but the bank employee was total noob.. i told him everything ..he said he need name of person..and a good reason for transfer i was like wtf anyway he called higher up and then i explained him that alertpay is like paypal..he told the employee to stamp and pass it..only than that douchebag stamped and passed it to bank manager.. everything solved now..
