    Hi,
Do I need a bank account connected to my PayPal account to receive money from a different PayPal account into my PayPal account?

No but it all depends on which country you are from because not all countries supports receiving money from Paypal anyways.

Use this list https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_display-approved-signup-countries-outside to see what your country account can support.

Also if your country supports receiving funds then you should ensure you have a Premier account instead. The Personal account is not made for business but for personal payments.

If your country supports withdrawal to a local bank account then it is a nice idea to add one in.

Initially, you can receive money in small denominations from other paypal users.Paypal will stop you from receiving further amounts after a particular limit. This happens because you are not a verified paypaler. Once you become a verified paypal member, the receiving limit is opened up.Also every one would like to trust a verified paypal member while doing business transactions.
