This is coz of fucking Indian government. They do not want live common Indians [ AAM ADMI] with high stander. They do scamms of million thousand dollars each month. They limited us[Indian peoples] receiving $500 only. Why don't they stop big amount currency note. That is main cause of illegal money. Fucking Indian GOVT. I pray god the Congress and his alliance may never come in rule. Fucking rulers men, Don't know anything about economic.
As far as we can receive multiple transactions with $500+(total sum) in a day, I don't have any problem with it
From the email: • Effective 26th September 2011, you will not be able to receive overseas payments exceeding US$ 500 per transaction into your PayPal account. Is it clear?
I'm clear with the rules, but my question is if a person x need to send $1500 to Person Y so Person X is sending 3 times by slitting the amount into $500 to Person Y all the 3 transaction are takes place on a single day and from single user. Is this is possible without trouble?
As I mentioned, the rule is going to be applied only from 26th September, so nobody have an experience! Again, it says "US$ 500 per transaction", no per person. So it SHOULD be able to split into multiple transaction - at least there is no info that says it is not possible.
The problem is with RBI guidelines Paypal has nothing to do. Paypal is implemented what RBI instructed. RBI has issued the instruction keeping in view FERA. Indian Cannot have any foreign or USD account How the RBI Can allow Paypal it was earlier like a bank account where you can pay and receive USD like foreign bank account.
I have received this email today too, I dont know what RBI is having problem with us. THey should make transparent policy and atleast weekly withdrawl
You can recieve 500$ per transaction and even 499$.But not more than 500$.If you want to recieve more than 500$for example,if you want to recieve 600$,Recieve 500$ in one transaction and 100$ in other transaction
I agree with your sentiments completely. But why do ppl working in Gulf have to send money thru hawala route. Isnt remittance, upto 1,00,000$, tax free?
