Hello, I just received my first offer to purchase a text link or sponsored post. I am totally new to this & welcome and appreciate all information anyone can provide. Here are my questions. Are there any "rules" when posting paid text links or a sponsored post? What do advertisers provide for this vs what they expect from me? Which is more desirable for a blogger, text or sponsored post and what are the charge difference of the two? And of course, how much should I charge? I have a PR3 and I average about 3500 unique visits a month. I assume I need an advertising agreement. However as I have only dealt with affiliate networks I do not have one. I called an attorney to see about getting something drafted to use for my website in general. He wanted to charge me $1,000... I don't think so... So my next question: Where can I get one drafted and is there a standard format bloggers use? Thanks in advance.. and feel free to please put in the simplest of terms..
