1099 Forms have ALWAYS included THREE copies, since the beginning of time - Copy B = "File this copy with Federal return" Copy C = "For recipient's records" Copy 2 = "File this copy with State return" What Google sent me - Copy B = "For recipient" Copy 2 = "To be filed with recipient's State tax return" Does this mean that it is no longer required to send your Google 1099 form to the IRS? Funny, that is NOT what Federal Tax Form 1040 instructions say! Any tax expert out there? I remember that last year, I also had to make an extra copy for my Federal return. (Not sure if this should be posted to "Payments" or "Reporting" - please don't give me another "Warning" for posting in the wrong place. It is more about Payments than it is about Stat Reporting.) EDIT - Just found this from DigitalPoint from 2005 - http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=10707 . .
