I signed up at PayPal India a few days back with the help of this forum. As per the requirements I have added my PAN, a bank account and added a purpose code for international deposits. Right now the progress is that the PAN is under verification and I also need to confirm the bank account by entering the two small deposits that have been made by Paypal. I have two queries right now. A client of mine has to deposit USD 400, if they send the money now within a few hours, i.e. while the PAN and bank account are still under verification, will the transaction take place and the figure appear in the paypal balance? Or will it refund back to them and I have to wait for the complete account verification before I receive any deposit? I wish to have the amount appear in the paypal balance at the earliest, though I can wait for the verification on my end for withdrawing to my bank as there already has been some delay with my client. My second question is that after all the verification process is done, and I have received the amount in my paypal balance, do I need to add a credit/debit card for withdrawing the money to my bank account? At the moment my debit card is a Maestro which is not listed in the Link Card page as a card type. I only wish to withdraw the paypal balance to my bank, and don't have any plans for using paypal for buying stuff online through any card. Thanks for reading,
If You Have a Verified Bank account, then there is no necessity for credit card. Credit card is used for sending or making purchase.
If your account is limited , you can not receive money (only for Indian due to PAN card, you can send money but not receive). You can receive money to your cc or bank account if it is verified but not limited.
