Can anyone reccommend a reputable compnay in the USA to buy an email list from. The company I work for want to get a boost in traffic and signups to our site. I am jsut a bit nervous about choosing what company to buy a list from. Any advice? Thanks so much.
I'm not sure "reputable" is the correct phrase to use, as this seems contrary to the notion of "buying email lists". Do you mean you're looking to purchase space on a newsletter, or outright email addresses? If the latter...ehh. Bad news. It likely won't generate much traffic or sign ups as it will be neither targeted nor relevant. If anything, you'll just generate resentment. Advertising (CPC/CPM) or site placements would do the job more effectively. In the alternative, target similar websites that have a listserv and see if they would contract to run an advertisement.
Yeah, you don't want to just buy email lists. That is heavily frowned upon. If I get an email from a company/subscription that I am not familiar with, it automatically gets marked as spam. That's not how you get visitors. edit: Buying traffic in general is just stupid anyways, don't do it.
