Everyone fails, at least for a while. You heard the saying, "it's not how many times you fall, but how many times you get up." (or something like that). Don't be ashamed of failing. It's just a matter of how long it takes to learn it. If you really want to do something, you'll do it eventually.

But maybe you don't really want to work on the internet. There's nothing wrong with that if that's truly the case. Maybe you were misguided by the $ potential.

Things that make people give up unnecessarily include things like lack of confidence, lack of patience, lack of planning, lack of study, lack of collaboration with others, unrealistic expectation, and more.

Also I think you sell yourself and people pay you for that. If you have high standards for yourself, you will be high quality and produce high quality. Despite all the scamming that goes on out there, it's actually easier to market quality than crap! Be quality and your work will be, too, and it will sell more.

And most importantly, make it fun! You can't maintain motivation for long if you hate what you are doing. Collaborating with others is perhaps the best way to keep it real, stay focused, and keep the human factor in there. Either partner up or at least stay active in forums like this, ask for help, etc.

Information overload is a major culprit...or inability to focus on one thing. And I am a victim of this one...

    1. They don't find a good niche. I see so many people who want sites on saturated niches. Well, believe me, even if it's not impossible to establish a site in a very "crowded" niche, it takes more work and money.
    2. the ones who provide services are "jack of all trades". I know a lot of stuff myself, but had narrowed it all down to few things I do a lot and do well.
    3. work and constant effort. Money online doesn't come after 2 days. I've spent the past 9 years working 10 hours/day at least and only for 2 years I can say my earnings are OK enough to actually work only online and earn a living.

a good niche is just an excuse.. whatever niche you have as long as you have dedication, you'll make money... creating niche sites today is not profitable anymore... create authority sites...

My opinion on this is that successful people starts their success journey from the mind first. I wrote an ebook on this subject, and have had many failures, at the same time in the process had many successful stories, including one that my first business I started, I was making good full time income only working 4-8 hours per week.
I think many people will not make decent money, until they can learn how to be first be successful starting from their mindset.

I have many ideas and just started to bounce back up again from my past failures, that's why I decided to create a blog to express my ideas to the world, and also for others to learn from my mistakes and my success. I wish you all success, and I'm thankful to have found this forum.

If you need any help, feel free to contact me from my website.

    Regards,

    Rich Student

Too many people are just looking for the next get rich quick scheme and when it doesn't work they move on to the next one. They aren't willing to put in the work that is required to accomplish success. Wishing for something won't get you very far, you have to take determined action to be successful. Most people run when the work gets hard, the successful people stay and work harder.

Most of it is the whole idea of get rich quick. A lot of people still see the internet as having a high success rate due to all the stories they hear (such as the million dollar web page etc). Then when a lot of them find some methods of earning (such as PTC sites), with a low pay rate, they think to themselves, "i'm worth more than that", without realising that they need to start somewhere, and then get put of by what appears to be a high payout rate...

There are too many people out there at the moment who want to get a lot of money for very little work.

I would agree one of the biggest reasons people fail is because they go in thinking they can "get rich quick". Once they begin to realize it takes a lot of work they lose focus and more importantly motivation. It's hard to stay motivated when you aren't seeing the quick results you expected.

Also, I think it's really easy to get overwhelmed when you're just starting out because it's kind of an information overload.
The people that succeed are the ones that can create clear goals and then break those goals down into manageable daily tasks. So I would say effective time management plays a big role and not getting caught up in all the distractions out there.

I agree, so many people create sites and expect instant success, it doesn't happen. You must build backlinks backlinks and more backlinks, and they must be of quality. Thats life.

Lack of focus is huge! Not too many marketers have avoided this brick wall.
