Sometimes I have to refresh the page in order to get the simple Google home page loaded after who knows which CSS/Ajax? implementations they did, and the same behavior after sign in gmail.

Not on a daily basis but occurring often since weeks ago

 

Well if you realy want to know the most popular search engine in the world is not google. It is yahoo. Not only is it the #1 search engine it is the toped ranked site period. As google is ranked the 3rd best. And live.com has only 1/5 the data base of google.

 

WTF what has yahoo copied other then the ad net.

It hink google is copying yahoo.
Yahoo had email first then came gmail
Yahoo had groups first then came google groups
Yahoo had directory first then came googles

 

Honestly, Microsoft Research is huge and they have been around much longer than Google. They have lots of smart people working for them so saying that Google is far ahead from Microsoft on the "creative/innovative DNA" is plain wrong. Google has not innovate much (if any) since they introduced their search algorithm which was a graduate student thesis long before Google was big. What has Google really done since then other than copy others?

Yea I constantly have to climb through adsense sites looking for real content. Get tired of that. I do appreciate Google's speed and overall relevance though.

 

google is faster that every other search engine and it always return to me result that I was waiting. For example if you type some abbreviature only google returns you what does that abbreviature mean. Let's say you've type IEEE, only google will return you that IEEE is Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers...

Meh, you could have at least tried... And thats why Google is the best search engine. Not because of its results - as far as I am concerned, they are equivalent to other engines - but because people are googleholics and anything else hurts their eyes. I've stopped using google as my primary search engine and I am pretty happy without it. I'm sure you would be too.
