I've noticed many people want to open multiple Adwords account, with a few advertisers I know already having multiple accounts. What is the reason behind this? Is it because of CTR? If that is the case then does the CTR of one campaign within an account affect the CTR of another?
They use a Virtual credit card to active a new account It costs 5-10$ for a virtual credit card (even some banks create it for free). $10 for an $60 voucher. And you have $60 adwords account. lol, that's the reason.
Well I know people who make big money from Adwords advertising, and I am quite sure it is not to do with the cheap vouchers you get for new accounts. I was thinking it is something to do with the Quality Score.
We create seperate Adwords campaigns for different clients of ours all under out main login. Then we issue unique login access to whichever campaign is theirs so they can get in and see what's going on if wanted, but can't really edit anything without going through us.
Can everyone stop with the voucher thing already! No one who spends hundreds and thousands of dollars a day on Adwords is going to give two shits about a voucher, so stop crapping this thread with the same bullshit idea. If anyone knows of a REAL reason why certain big Adwords spenders have multiple accounts, please let us know, but if your going to go on about the voucher crap, then please stop.
Well I have more than 1 account and its for multiple reasons. Firstly, I have a few sites for completely different purposes and would like to keep the spending on them separate for tracking (and tax) purposes. Also, Google has a limit of the amount of keywords you can have in an account. I think its 75 000 keywords. So if you go over this limit (which I have on multiple occasions), you will be forced to open a new account.
Read somewhere on DP (can't find link) that shows new accounts do better in terms of ROI, than accounts that have been used for a while. (smart pricing?) I have no evidence that google smart price (increase click charge) advertisers but i know for sure that they smart price (decrease click payment) publishers.... so maybe this is why people have multiple accounts
There is lot of discussion on board for multiple adwords accounts. Still I don't understand why people owns multiple accounts.
I read somewhere that Adwords keeps track of your account history -- like CTR -- and this can affect any future ads you start. The article went on to recommend that you delete your account and start fresh if you've had a historically low CTR. I'm not sure how true this is so you might want to do some research to see if this is true.
