    Hello!

I am currently designing my own website, and writing my own ebook. I was wondering what are some reasons CB may reject a publisher? I would like to know this before I finish. :)

    Thanks

They may reject it if it's against the law or not digital (or the main product is not digitally downloaded).
Rejections can also be done due to technical stuff: bad pitch page, pad thank you page, links not working, can't download ebook, etc.
They also don't like certain types of products, especially in the IM niche, so watch out and if you are in this niche, make sure you provide very unique content.
    Good luck!

They would reject anything that has to do with
    - myspace
    - youtube
    - list building
These ones I am sure of

Just got my CB news paper today and this can probably help you

Get started earning money on your digital product sales today!

Publishers just like you create the digital products sold on the ClickBank Marketplace in the same way that authors write books sold at retail book stores. The main difference is that we sell our publishers' products online using the ClickBank system. To see samples of digital products currently offered, visit the ClickBank Marketplace.

Here is the step-by-step process for getting setup as a ClickBank publisher:

    1. Sign Up with ClickBank - it takes less than 2 minutes!
    2. Design a "Pitch Page" to promote and sell your product
    3. Designate a "Hoplink Target URL"
    4. Design a "Thank You Page" to deliver your product and thank customers
    5. Test the payment links from your Pitch Pages to the ClickBank order form
    6. Request Product Approval
    7. Pay the one time $49.95 Activation Charge
    8. Connect with the free ClickBank affiliate network to optimize your sales

Before getting started refer and agree to our Client Contract.

If you want to find the rest of it just go to this url :http://www.clickbank.com/getting_started.html

If you read the recent interview with a Clickbank representative, he says that they don't accept products with claims, which are impossible to proof, such as "You will become a millionaire, if you buy this ebook" or something like that.

Do a search on forum on "clickbank interview" and you should be able to find that thread with the interview. It's pretty useful.

    Hi there,

You'll get a great idea of this if you check out all the help on the clickbank page. It's pretty useful.

Also, even if they do reject it, it's not the end of the world. I've had things rejected, and it usually just takes a little tweaking of the page to get it past their quality control. They are usually pretty helpful and will be happy to let you know the reasons and answer your questions etc.

Lastly, if they absolutely won't approve it, you can always look at other places like paydotcom and CJ.

    Hope that helps.
