Do you think paypal is 'dying' because the traffic the site receives isn't as much as it used to be?

I guess he is stating that. Just because it's traffic goes down, doesn't mean it is dying...

Alexa traffic reports are based only on users with the Alexa toolbar installed.

That is a huge drop in one day and there was a huge 1 day increase in mid 2005. It is most likely attributable to a change in the Alexa reporting algorithm and not a change in actual PayPal visitors. ie: Perhaps the high numbers included PayPal BuyNow buttons on seller's websites with button images hosted at PayPal.

Well considering it takes a sample of all internet users. A rank going down could be because other web sites have leap frogged it in terms of visitors maybe? Or as others have said the alogorithm for alexa changing. Also the rank appears to be on the rise again so how exactly is it dying?

I like paypal and Paypal has worked for me since so many years.Paypal is here to stay.Traffic data has nothing to do with the life pf PayPal. Ebay is the backbone of Paypal.
