As you all know, I own BlurMyIp.com . Well, I went to Alexa and did a lookup to see where my hits are coming from. THe #1 country on the list is Iran. THis really and honestly bothers me. How do I ban a country or countries from accessing my server? THanks!

You can get an IP->country database and use that to find the user's country based off their IP but I don't see the need to discriminate against users for such a reason. Is there anything in particular that bothers you about this?

    2) War going on
    3) Do I really need to continue?

Yes a WAR with IRAQ!

Iran is a very politically oppressed country with a censored internet very much like China - the Iranians are using your proxy because they don't like being censored. What exactly bothers you about this?

If you want a real reason for banning all Iranian IP's at least make it financial (they use bandwidth and the PPC payout is cents) and not a decision based your xenophobia.

Yes, a well put together rebuttal if I do say so myself.

Your answer; you can block IP ranges using .htaccess - google it.
