I heard that Google sends AdSense publishers' checks via UPS Next Day Air if the earnings are $XX,XXX. Is that true?

You can request the check via DHL and it will delivered in 2-3 days from the date of issue. $25 charges apply for that service. Anyone can request check by DHL regardless of what amount they got.
