Selling Really Big Article Directory

I had registered this domain in 2006 and it has always been an article directory.

The article directory has grown too big for my server and is overloading the server.

The host now wants me to upgrade to VPS.

2 years back, Adsense had disabled ad serving on this particular site. They never told me the exact reason. (I still have my Adsense account and use it on other sites).

I use Adbrite on this site, but that doesn't make me enough money to justify using a VPS.

The site gets 14000 visitors per month and 30000 page views (Google Analytics Data).

According to awstats, the site gets over 30000 visits per month and over 300000 page views per month.

The article directory has over 140,000 approved articles and another 400,000 unapproved ones (I am not sure of the unapproved number as the host has disabled the database for now).

    It is a PR3 domain.

If you think your server can handle such a big site and you are interested in purchasing the site, do let me know.

Interested, but it's crashed again... that has to hurt your google positions and the fact that it's been banned from adsense is a killer, what's a reasonable price that you would accept?

Make an offer that you think is reasonable.

The host has disabled the database as it was creating problem for other sites on the same server.

I have requested the host to let the site run for another 72 hours. I will either sell the site by then or covert it to blog.

I don't think 2-3 days of downtime will make much difference in the long run. Anyway, the site doesn't have much search engine traffic and so I am less worried about.

Most of the traffic to this site is direct (writes coming to the site for submitting their articles).

Please note that even though bar chart shows that 55% of the traffic is from US, it is not the case.

Most of the traffic is from India (50%). In the last few months, Google analytics has mistaken bots/scrapers for humans and thus the visitor data has got distorted. The actual traffic from US is only 10%-15%.

I can't tell the colors in the chart anyway... I am green/blue color blind LoL. Thanks for being honest... I will think about it. So there's no bidding on this I take it.

75000+ users, but many of them have registered via Article Marketer.

These are the Adbrite stats for October 2010.
