Really bad CTR

A few days ago I put adsense on a forum and ive been earning a reasonable ammount.

However yesterday I got 4,400 impressions and only 16 clicks.

Is this about normal for a forum? I supose that forums work differently in terms of ads than on normal sites.

CTR depends on the ads placement and colors

You can get a better CTR if you place your Adsense ads within threads in your forum

Forums are known to have low CTR... if you are using Vbulletin, try deep integration tutorial found at VB support forum for good ad placement.

Im going to install a mod which puts an ad after the first post in a thread like it has here on DP. Also I will redo all of the colours, I think some of them are a bit too bold.

Yeah.. thats quite normal for a forum, though on a lower side.
Forums normally have a very low CTR.

Forums have really low CTR. Try different ad and link units and put them in different places, see which one works best for your forum.
