Hi All, Before the panic sets in I wanted to ask the gurus for some advice. A new site we are working on www.seo4realestate.com is resolving intermittently to http://www.realestate.com/realtor/default.asp?SITEID=0039816009-qIp6QhEvHBbdAl@LSXn1&SOURCE=25001&esourceID=25001&bp=39816009&staff=&afsrc=1 Which is owned by Lending Tree. We are developing the site for a couple very large projects and I am starting to worry Anyone have any ideas on how and why this could be happening. We email lending tree and they replied by saying they never heard of anything like that before and they can't do anything about it.. We're going to have an aweful lot of marketing materials to replace if we can't get this sorted out asap. Thanks in advance for the help! Sorry for the dead links but I'm a couple posts short of being live link worthy...LOL Rich
I had this happen recently and the problem was with the server setup. Have you talked with your host?
Hi Jeff, What was it on the server? Everything is ok according to them Now I'm really scratching my head
I have actually had this happen twice in the last thirty days with two (2) different hosts. The first host claimed it had something to do with Database cluster operation. The second host said the problem was with Cpanel.

I didn't ask them to explain in too much detail. I said fix it and they did. If I had to guess I would say the problem revolves around Domain Name Servers not IP Highjacking.
If there was nothing that you did, it means there is a missing entry in the DNS zone files of your hosting company. That can be the only reason. And this is usually caused by bad control panels. Like if you are setting up a website, and there is a problem in the setup process, or it is halted before it is complete, the dns entries are incomplete, and then the next website that is setup usually faces a problem. Something very similar to whta your problem is.
I have had this before and it was a kiddy hacker f**cking around. If you are using Nuke or other PHP scripts make sure they are secured.
