I was just thinking to buy a product from eBay but the seller is from different country.
The product is around $150+ (it's electronic item) and seller has mention free shipping including my country (i.e India)

just a question for Indian buyers who have deal with eBay previously.
So was just thinking is their any tax i have to pay like customs, vat etc.?
If yes what and how much it will be around? (just provide the approx. amount)

    Thanks!!

Normally, they send the items as gift. Almost always indeed. However, it totally depends on your country's custom if you would be charged or not. Most-a-times, you don't have to.

If they declare it a gift, like most good ones do, then you should be ok.

sometimes post offices hold items that if they feel there is something that should pay tax for it. as an example, mobile phones.
