Real SEO work

Ever since I left the COOP (2-3 months ago) my traffic, SERP's and sales have all been 3x-4x times what they were when I was in the COOP.

I think it was all those shady ad's at the bottom of my pages :D

R-E-A-L SEO work is so much better.

Last time I looked the Coop wasn't a replacement for "Real SEO Work" - and why did you post this in "Website Reviews"

Cool. I'll get rid of them. Get Traffic x 3 then put them back on. Then delete them and get Traffic x3. Keep doing that and I'll be on the Bahamas soon.

He didn't. He posted it in the Co-op but it's not about the Co-op. It's a personal experience so this was IMO the best place.

This thread is pointless IMHO. I do "Real SEO work" AND I use the Coop so my sales, visitors, etc are 6x-8x

Co-Op has a few benefits, but its not a primary - or secondary - thing to do. Coop is most useful for getting spiders to your site quickly so if you make changes to a page (ie a price) it shows up a lot quicker.

Real SEO work takes time, but the results are rewarding. Whenever I get bored with it, I check out my traffic over the past year

I think this is a great idea for a thread, and I'm fascinated by the idea that the removal of Co-op ads can result in higher CTRs, a better user experience, greater conversion rates, etc.

AskJeeves recently had the same thing happen to them on a larger scale - a 35% jump in profits, attributed largely to a drop in the number of ads displayed and a better overall user experience on their site.

    Thanks for posting, rtheo.
