I dont think there is a reason for it to be a scam. they're not asking for money. shoot back a reply.

I won't bother to reply, have received quite a number of such emails, it seemed that they are spamming everyone with this. Can't say it is a scam, but definitely not something I would be joining

Well first I wont trust an email of this format, secondly if it is legit, it should at least be from a domain, I receive a lot from cattle...something cant even remember the name, just blacklist them.

Do not deal with those that spam you.

I don't see why it's being called a scam, the reason why they never replied back to some is maybe because they found the rates too high.

If they Pay then they are LEGIT, If they dont PAY there is no way you will place their link, They might be interested knowing your link price or the market price of the PR your website may have.

Another issue - This is a link sale forum I guess you can post regarding this kind of issues to General discussion forum on DP

You have nothing to lose by replying back to them. It could be a real offer. You never know and the worse thing is they do not pay you than you remove their link. I have emailed website owners of related sites before with offers to place links, some replied back and some didn't. I would at least check it out.

Um... It's real. I have people email me all the time asking for text links like that.

Just aks them what link they want to buy and have them send money thru Pay Pal and if they don't pay, don't put their link up. You have nothing to lose.

This is a new method of detecting valid email addresses, because most everyone responds.

Some are real, many are fake. If you receive many of the same type, or repeats, its fake, usually.

It doesn't look fraudulent. You can't really loose anything by asking them

EDIT: oops didn't read too far, srry lol

I wouldn't charge too much if it's a rank 1 with 50 visits a day. Try to go as high as posible but not high enough to loose your chance.

It's a chance worth taking. If someone is going to pay you for a link I don't think it's a scam.

Nah looks fishy to me, the email is a dead giverway, as mentioned by wisdomtool, if it were legit the email from/reply would look very different to that. Done take a chance, maybe they want your paypal email address :(
