Hi Guys, There's so much hype about google PR nowadays and we always refer to Google Toolbar PR which rank from 0 to 10. But when it comes to ranking websites google uses 'real' or internal google PR which is 0..XXXXX. Does anybody know of any tools on the internet which I can use to check my REAL google PR?
I have not heard this before but I do know that PR updates regularly. It is only made public every 2-3 months.
Thanks for your reply. I thought that the algo is available and every body knows how PR is calculated but it was difficult to analyse all the links?
I'm pretty confident (95% sure) that Google doesn't allow any external access to the "real PR". I know that it is updated constantly by the Google algo, but nobody knows exactly how it works. If you read Matt Cutts blog, you'll find many posts where he talks about some of the factors, but nobody knows exactly how everything is weighted.
no it's not available...only some parts are known, but it is definately not available...if it were so everybody would know exactly what to do to rank good
Everybody, thank you for your posts. I was a bit confused why everybody was talking about meaningless google toolbar pr but the real one. Thank you for clarifying the issue, well done.
