That was the most boring game I have ever seen. Both teams were lazy and neither played any real football. Disappointing stuff, would of watched the Wales game if it was on tv.

But you bothered enough to post which is a kind of a contradiction in terms to your statement? (Rhetorical) ;)

Final score England 2 USA 0

Bit of a lack lustre second half if you ask me.

Still, we won, that's the main thing. :)

    Where's the beer? :D

I'm glad you stated that, I didn't want to appear too harsh.

It was frankly, a rather boring game, USA played like a village team and England not much better.

The USA national team is poor, poor players and very poorly managed and run tbh.

England were just out to try out here, and nobody was going to put too much effort in after their own long domestic season has just come to a close, plus the fact they are not going to Euro 2008. Motivation would have been difficult tonight, no matter who was in charge.

A win, a clean sheet, and something to build on is all that came out of the game tonight.

Wasn't that bad, I'd like to see England's American Football team take on the US team - oh wait, England don't have one, do they? Kinda proves a point. Americans aren't footballers.

    You said it. :D

I think we'll stick with the beautiful game, if we want some rough and tumble, I'm sure we could introduce some rugby, only quite possibly, the Americans, no offense, might not want to take off, all of there fancy packaging, protective clothing, for fear of getting hurt.

What?! Don't tell me you've never heard of the game of rugby!

Type into Youtube: Rugby massive tackles.

    ;)

Yeaaaahhhhhhh thats not what I call a good game, I turned it off once I saw the player line ups when David Beckham ran out and I realized he was the oldest player on the field and yet way better than any of the US players.

Thats why it's called American Football because its American, a sport especially for you guys and a few other outsiders. ;)

Real Football is worldwide, I guess thats why its just called Football.

US sports aren't popular around the world... American Football, Baseball, Basketball is played in a few Eastern European countries I guess. Compare this to Football, Cricket and Rugby though and the numbers are very different. Not that either is better or worse, each to their own I guess. I don't like the way US sports (baseball?) sometimes say 'World Series' and 'World Champions' when it's only the US taking part.

What I find odd is how the US don't dominate Olympic basketball? Considering it's so widely played in the US, you would think they would do much better on the international stage.

Anyway, was a crap game really. I find England a really boring team to watch, especially as it's been a while since we played a team I actually consider decent. We can't win against teams like the USA, we either win and meet expectations or lose and face a media onslaught.

I would only care if England actually made it to Euro 2008. What a bitter pill to swallow that was.Now they have all these crusty advertisements with random people saying they're supporting random countries.
