    Hello gang,

    Real Estate Training

A new site design, it is only the index page, but before it goes live, I would like some feedback. Real Estate Training Please ignore the links to my other site, they are only temporary. Your input is very much appreciated. Also, if anyone (those who are close to the industry) have any content suggestions, that would be great.

Also, I have 2 domains registered. realestatetraining and real-estate-training. Using the sandbox, the better results were displayed used the hyphenated version. Which should I use and which should I forward.

    Thanks again in advance.

Hi, I just looked at your site and it looks good. I like the design. Checked for title, description, and keyword tags and see they are in place.

My quesion is, "Is there any demand for this type of site?" I do not know. Hopefully someone in industry will review site for you and make recommendations regarding content and the like. I see blank space at bottom of page suspect this is due to fact page is under construction.

    Best of luck,

    Shannon

The thing is, even if there is no demand, NewComputer can create traffic there easily by having information linking out to other resources. (mortgage information for each of the 50 states, realtors, etc.) It could be very profitable with a few thousand pag of content and proper SEOing. Adsense for this type of site runs around $5-$10 a click.

Yea, there is not a huge demand for the service, but when I was taking the course, I kept thinking, boy, I could sure use some help. Also, like schlottke said, this is going to be supplemental and a good source of other relevant info.

PS: schlottke, any advice you may have would be great.

Personally if I was going to do something like this I would create an adwords account and see what terms pay out the best.

For instance, I know the terms California Mortgage, Wisconsin Mortgage, and Minnesota Mortgage all pay around $6 per click. (You will make around $4.50)

Creating content on how the current rates in each state, mortage brokers you know and trust, and other similar things.

Be sure to offer useful advice, people really do search for this stuff, and it can be profitable if done correctly.

This is where I have trouble. Is adwords not the program where you pay per click to be inserted on the top or the right of google results for certain terms?

Yes, Adwords is. Adsense is the program where you get paid to display those ads. I was simply suggesting you get an adwords account so you can see what you *would* have to pay if you wanted certain terms, this gives you an idea of what kind of content you should be adding, so that your adsense account will profit more.

Looks like you have a nice homepage for real estate training. As a real estate agent, what services are you going to offer? It seems like that you have touched only the surface with passing the real estate licensing exams. There is a lot of subject matter that needs to be covered so that an agent can be successful with real estate.

The internet is totally underused by the real estate community and this might be an area to explore education in.

Do not hesitate to private message me, if you do desire.

    GlennG,

Thanks for the input. I have looked at the other options. I may include some additional information to help agents become successful, but my first priority is helping them get through the exam.

If you want to lend some advice, feel free to PM, I would love to hear it. Where are you an agent out of?

    NewComputer,

I wanted to take a look at your site/page, but it is down. Reply or PM when it is up. I have several real estate websites and maybe we can work together to pump them up in the SERPs.

One of my sites targets training new agents on how to effectively use the web to market themselves. It sounds like a natural progression from your "training to be an agent" site.

Please visit Real Estate Profressional Training as the site is now live (sort of) and I am really looking for some feedback as to where I should head with this website.
