depends on what is your site about. does adding adsense against the main objective of the site and turn away your current visitor? In that case, my answer is no.

are u making money without adsense also? i mean by making real estate deals? if yes, then i think that adsense will give a bad impression to ur potential customers.

otherwise i would say go ahead. :)

If it is just an information website then go ahead.

Just like champ_rock said, it would look bad if you use adsense on a website which sells mobile phones because most adsense ads will be about other mobile shops. However, if it is just an information site about mobile phones, then it will be great idea to use adsense.

5000 is a big number. If they come by organic search, you should definitely use adsense

Can't hurt to add it and see what kind of results you get. You'd be crazy not to at least try it.

nah i would find another way to monetize

there has to be a shedload of cash in the realestate business which is why there are so many people in it.

contact a few midsize real estate vendors in your area and offer them proof of visitors and uniques etc then offer them ad space at $500 a month on a rotating basis with no more than 3 ad spaces on a page.

i say midsized because the big boys dont normally appreciate being contacted directly by site owners.

get 10-15 signups and retire comfortably to barbados

    NO!!!!!!!!!!! Are you crazy??

First try some affiliate stuff from CJ, then try to get private advertisers (in a rotation), and if both of those don't pan out, then try AdSense.

If all this traffic is organic, you're sitting on a goldmine.

I'm gonna PM you one other must-do thing for your site to really make some dough.

If the site is only for business , adsense gives some negative effects. For me a business site with adsense means that they are not earning enough money on their main business. You should decide considering this.

    With a good AdSense/SE Optimization :
    5000 visitors * 5 pagviews/visitor * 4% CTR * 0.3 PPC = $300/day (at least)

Without any good AdSense/SE Optimization :
    5000 visitors * 2 pagviews/visitor * 1% CTR * 0.1 PPC = $10/day

So, my advice is that you forget the numbers you just read in these posts and give AdSense a try.

One more thing to add to my previous post, real estate sites are huge money, when someone clicks on your AdSense ad you basically sold that targetted visitor, and all possible future monetization of them, for < $1 (maybe little more). Anyways, you got my PM.
