When I tried with a keyword research for US Real Estate Niche, I found that most of the top keywords are highly competitive. Did anyone have good ranking in this niche ?
I think, you should go for longtail keywords in beginning for better output. Try to research some new phrases for ranking then start link building for such keywords. Later on, you can start work for generic keywords of real estate industry. This trick worked for me a lot.
US real estate keywords are really competitive. It's easy to rank localized. You need more time and quality links in order to rank in google real estate niche.
Real estate niche is so competitive because there are big amount of money in play. I believe the only way to get some traffic in this niche is to go with long-longtail keywords. But problem is there is a lot of cometition even in microniches whit less than 10 searches per day...
Real Estate Niche is still not much competitive if you go for targeted long tail keywords. It should take you some time to get ranking for any of the website.
There are a few good quotes, that don't relate to just the real estate niche but all niches. It takes time and you need quality content. I started a real estate marketing blog recently. (2 actually, deleted the first one on realestatemarketingblog.wordpress.com no content there, you can go check, and its now a page rank 4 blog just on the original 15 posts, which as i said, i deleted) I put that all on my current blog so hopefully that gets a page rank 5 . The point is, i get a few visitors, no great numbers, but i noticed that they tend to get an rss feed and return to my site via their email when i make a new post. My content must be worth reading. In time the numbers will increase. Everybody wants to have 10,000 visitors within 3 days.........If you don't have unlimited funds to buy your traffic then you are going to need to show patience.
"Real Estate Niche" is doable with good site content. If you notice, the top 10 are not SEOed very good. "US Real Estate Niche" is even easier.
That's because nobody searches for 'US Real Estate Niche' - why would they? My understanding of the American Real Estate business online is that it isn't just competitive, it's also cut-throat - with top sites sailing very close to the wind in terms of black-hat - it's not an area to go into if you haven't got nerves of steel
Make sure you perform an "exact" match... I doubt that its competitive when you perform an exact match... You must be doing a "broad" match for the phrase... Will try to do it and let you know what I get..
I think real estate is a niche that you should not get into unless you have experience, time, and a little money. I think going local is the best way as I have done it a few different times and then sold the websites to local realtors etc for a pretty good amount of money each time.
i has several real estate websites - to be exact over 100 sites. to rank of search terms like "city" real estate it can be difficult even if there are not many results. I have a site that has been up for about 8 months that is "city" condos and i'm stuck in the high teens in google and i'm constantly adding back links to it trying to get in the top 3. My site google dances like crazy, moving between the 2nd and the 4th page within hours? There is a lot of buying and selling of domains right now it seems. I would look at targeting long tail key words first, useually if you target names of neighborhoods its easy.
By going local I think he mean going after the local niche like"your town" real estate or even "your town" land or "your town" farms, etc etc. Go after the small local niches first and work up to the bigger ones later. scott
I helped a client appear number one for 'overseas investment property' which is similary competitive - my best advice is to be super patient and allocate at least 8-12 months to see results. Having said that, you can use social media to great effect in this kind of industry so get bookmarking and writing articles to help drive traffic and build links.
