    They're great at sending spam :) Their form email on their web site would never work, and I finally had to contact their web host to get the spam stopped for a client.

    The only real benefit to listing on these national real estate directory web sites is if they give you a PR boost. Let's face it, when most people search for real estate they search using 'cityname + real estate term'. Very few real estate directories are optimized for states, let alone cities.

    The exception is realtor.com. On Google, it usually ranks well for most cities because of its authority status. Unfortunately, it doesn't do anything for PR, but it does generate leads for my clients.
