Oh my, where did you get the list of NZ areas? The places certainly exist but they missed critical regions like Auckland and Wellington. It's an ambitious task though if you repeat that process for every country.
You are right. I get it from Maxmind. But it seems that although both Auckland and Wellington are there, they do not have an associated region, this is why they do not show up on list. I am working on it now. Thanks for pointing this.
