You guys are really showing your lack of age. Sean Connery is Bond. All the rest just try to match up. I have seen every Bond movie and read all Ian Fleming's books. None are like the books, but Connery owned the rolse unlike any otyher actor . . . just as Ursula Andress owns the role of the original Bond girl.

Agreed, Connery is the true Bond. All the other guys don't come even close to him, although I do like Moore also.

I'd say if you "average" out, the best bond is probably Connery, but if I'd had to pick the best James Bond movie, then it would be GoldenEye with Brosnan. As for the new movie haven't seen it yet, but have so far only heard good things about it.

Craig! Brosnan just seems phoney to me for some reason, not really a big bond fan anyways

I just saw the trailer but... i think it's enough!
This guy have nothing to do with James Bond - Roger Moore and Shean Connery (the best ones ever).

The fact is, Sean Connery was the ORIGINAL bond so everybody thereafter is going to be compared against him which is inevitable.

The originals will always be legends - who'd take Samuel L Jackson's Shaft character over Richard Roundtree's?

When Connery's reign inevitably came to an end and he was succeeded first by George Lazenby for one film, then Roger Moore, comparisons was made and critics lept on it but I personally thought that Roger Moore especially since he had more time, ingratiated himself well and brought his own personal suave sophisticated style to James Bond and was just as great as Sean Connery in his own right. Pierce Brosnan was also a brilliant bond, and I'm sure that given enough time Daniel Craig will become so. I haven't seen the film yet, it will take some getting used to since I've been used to Pierce Brosnan being bond for a lot of years now, but I'm going to try and just take Daniel Craig as bond rather than go with the attitude that he's an imposter:) He's a great actor and has his own style so he'll do great.

*sigh* I shall miss the power, presence, style, accent, and sheer raw manliness of Sir Sean Connery on the big screen.
