Just say you see an interesting thread with around 100+ replies. Do you read the entire thread before you post? Or do you just read the OP and reply? Curious as in alot of bigger threads the same answer it posted straight after itself at numerous places alot of the time. (tried to search for an alike topic...) [edit-2] Not sure how to add another option to the poll. (read most of the topic)
Voted for "Read a few posts then reply!" If i'm free, then i would read the whole thread, especially if theres a discussion going on any of my favorite subject/topic. Otherwise, usually i would read fully a couple of replies, then just scan thru the rest of 'em, and finally reply to the thread. Thanx, Shadab.
If there's only 1-2 pages, then I'll read the whole thread but if not, I'll read from page 1-2, then jump to the last page.
I usually read the whole OP post and the first five replies, and then I usually post. But it sure depends, there are a few interesting threads I browse through as there may be interesting stuff you can pick. Meti
I usually read the OP and a few replies after that, and the last few replies just to find out if the post has changed direction or not.
Pooh. depends on the subject. Somethimes I read a few in the biginning and in the end and then reply. But when it comes to dealing I just reply.
Suprising results! I would of thought more people would read the entire topic first before replying. But I suppose it does depend on how interesting the topic really is and how long it is!
Exactly what I do. And if the thread doesn't hold my attention all the way through to the end, then I don't bother replying at all...
