Hi I just received a PM from this user: http://forums.digitalpoint.com/member.php?u=274305

    This is the message:
On clicking the link you're taken to a third party site, but seems that you're on digitalpoint forum, as everything there even links are of DP...... the only thing you're required is your user name and pw..... do check the URL.....

I tried informing mods, but no one is online at the moment so posting here.....

Well, 1st of all by posting the link here you are inviting more people to click on the link which is good for that spammer.

So, better remove that phishing link 1st from your post. :)

Hopefully everyone is smart enough to notice the link he sends is a phishing site, easy to spot by the sub-domain he is using.

    Yeah, I got that too.

I clicked on it, but I did not submit anything.

If I can recall, the site did not even look similar - the color scheme was different.

    Thanks for the heads up.

For everyone saying to forward it to a Moderator, how can you if it doesn't show anybody as being online?! You can't just scroll to the bottom and see who's online moderating, it doesn't show for some reason.

Consider if he sent it to 10,000 dp users, those that have logged on since then and the ones who will read it in the future. Easily 500+ dp accounts taken minimum

As we have said dozens of times here, do NOT publish PM spam on the forum. Forward it to a moderator, and then delete it. NEVER do anything that puts other members at risk or helps the scammer's cause!
