you need to realize that your entire existance as an editor is based on serving the needs of webmasters, period... you have absolutely no way of knowing who created the content that has been submitted to you, so it's a moot point.

 

if your underlying thought is that some categories such as porn don't belong in the dmoz, i agree.

when editors come out here with these dmoz ass kissing threads in defense of the directory, or groveling for editors like you did in the first post of this thread, i would have thought that said it was a failure... after all, your time could be spent doing productive work, like actually looking at the suggestion pool instead, heaven forbid

true, you never personally told us that the dmoz has rules that editors are held accountable to... so the implication there is that you agree with crowbar: "we[dmoz editors] don't have to do squat if we don't want to, and we're accountable to no one."
