Re-write Issues

So, I am relatively new to SEO, though I have a sound foundation in most of what is out there, however, I have recently come across a problem with yahoo. Anyone care to shed some light?

My new and improved website was indexed in yahoo about two months ago and after a few weeks it ranked well. The URLs at the time it had indexed were sloppy id=23409?6y2&343268035j478q34(mash keyboard a few more times).aspx. I got our developers to do a rewrite, and so now they are dynamically generated using whatever the page name is.

When I re-wrote the URLs Google immediately picked up on them and we have been doing well there ever since. However, when Yahoo re-indexed two weeks ago, we took a major dive. Words that were in the top five are now at 105. New URLs as well as old are not ranking, and the only site that is ranking is my main URL.

All that I can think is that Yahoo has a personal vendetta against me, and a giant Y! is going to show up at my house soon wielding a sharp object to finish the job.

    Your thoughts?

In the future use a 301 redirect to tell the spiders the page has been moved. All you can do now is wait...Give it a few weeks.
