Re-verified by Moneybookers (after months of being a regular account holder!)

I was surprised when I logged in my Moneybookers account a few hours ago - I wanted to withdraw my money through my bank account (like I always do) - and alas, I was asked to "re-verify" my account by withdrawing an amount less than $20.00. Moneybookers will then supposedly send it to your account and within 3 banking days, you're going to receive a verification code of sorts which you need to enter back in your Moneybookers account.

This is a bit baffling especially since I've been a regular account holder for MONTHS now. I've never had a problem except today. So now I have to go through all this hassle before I can basically enjoy my hard earned money.

Anybody else who had the same experience lately?

Yeah same thing happened to me a few weeks ago. Start the withdrawal process, call your bank get the code and get it verified. I've called moneybookers and they said this is the procedure for bank account withdrawals as I was getting my cash into my credit card until then. Be careful, as the code expires in 24 hours. Hope this helps.

Yes it's a little bit of a hassle but I haven't had any problem since. It's an easy, fast procedure and you avoid future issues.
