Hi Everyone. I am looking for some one to build a full-blown website site for a national pub/bar quiz starting soon in the UK. Approximately 15 - 25 pages will be static pages (we will supply all text for these pages), Who we are, What we do, How the quiz works, How to sign up to the quiz as either a pub/bar owner or a quiz player and so on, behind this will be the database side of the website, this will contain the quiz league so that pub/bar owners can upload the results of the quiz they do each and every week, from that we need to have a table that shows the top 100 teams from all of the pubs/bars playing our quiz. Check out a the website WWW.pokerinthepub.com, this should give you an idea of the sort of thingwhat i am looking for. The site will also require a search facility so potential quiz players can tap in their post code and find the 5 or 10 nearest pubs/bars to them that are running our quiz nights, this will need to tell them what the pub is called, where the pub/bar is located the pub/bar landlords name, a contact phone number what day of the week the quiz runs and what time the quiz starts. In addition to that I would like the option to offer a simple one-page template site for each pub/bar that joins us so that pub and bar owners can provide more in-depth details about them and there pub/bar, this must be built so that pub and bar owners can do this page themselves uploading photos and text. It is possible that we may charge a small fee to the pubs and bar owners for this one page add-on (a maximum of £20.00 each) basic details will be listed for free. For each pub and bar that takes up this offer they will need a unique user name and password and we would require the option to view their page and click yes or no before the site is viewable by the general public. We also plan to offer an online quiz (we have found a ready made quiz that can be inserted into our site) I also plan to add in a simple online games script to the site containing 2-3000 games, again, this is a simple ready made script that just needs to be added into the code. I have found a basic PHP social networking script that I am also thinking of adding to the site so that the quiz players can talk to each other, upload photos and details about themselves but no decision has been made on this. All of this will need to be built to run on our Linux based dedicated server and will need a IDIOT PROOF content management system so that I can do updates to the static side of the site. It is also likely that I will require ongoing help with site maintenance for the long term, it may even be possible to offer a fixed monthly salary to the right person. $1200 is £600 and not really enough for a project like this. Are you taking offers on how much we'll do it for? If so I might be interested.
