Re-launch once banned site...

    Hi,

I have recently taken over a site and would like to put Adsense on it.

The previous owner warned me that he had Adsense on this site, but Google banned it, because too much clicks from "friends", who wanted to "help" him...

Anyway, he learned his lesson and stopped telling people that he has websites with Adsense.

My question is: As I have a working Adsense account, can I use it on this site once banned by Google?

It is a simple site with travel info, and I guess Adsense could add a little income to it.

    Thanks any input

    Attila

Because of the banning, which may have been of the account? and not just one site, im unsure of how they treat this.

I suggest you contact adsense support before putting ads in that site.

If the site was banned, contact google and if his account was banned only, go right ahead and place the codes

    Thank you for the responses!

I am worried, because i read somewhere in a forum, that Google can ban accounts "by association"...

I am not sure the exact details, but wanted to know if anyone has any info or previous experience on these things.

Contact google about this issue they will only solve this problem. Without contacting them don't put ads on your site. Adsense will ban your account also.

Better contact the adsense support, there's a process about this issue. Or better use other PPC program. Good luck

if the previous owner's account was banned for TOS violation, then it would be OK to use adsense on that site. but if the site itself is in violation, then you cannot use adsense on the site. whichever the situation is, it is best to contact adsense support and let them know that you are the new owner of the site and that you bought the site from someone else. ask them whether you can use adsense on that site and see what they say. better be safe than sorry later

The safest way is to contact google, but I don't think that they will answer you. Since the site was banned already, I think google would hesitate to approve for the new account using that domain again unless you will convinced google that the site is in new owner.

So far they only posted an automated reply, saying that "it looks like" I was banned, and asking for reconsideration....
And they have a lot of e-mail and be patient...

    So ... not much yet.

I think it's ok to place your Ads on that site.
Google banned the guy for cheating clicks, not the site that has something not legal or against the adsense Tos that caused him banned.
But I would contact Adsense first before put Adsense Cods on.
