My Adwords account was suspended last year (mainly because I didn't realize that deleting and pausing campaigns didn't exempt my account from the site standards). I knew that some of my sites were flagged for low/poor quality (after being high quality for 5 years, but that's another story), but thought that by making them inactive, I was being a responsible "Adwords user". No such luck. One day, out of the blue, I logged in to Adwords to find that my account had been suspended due to multiple sites having a low/poor quality rating. That being said, recently I updated one of my primary sites and another site, and re-submitted a request to have my Adwords account re-activated. The non-primary site was approved, and I can't get an answer back about the primary site but they keep telling me I that until have updated every site I've ever advertised with Adwords, I can't have my account re-instated. Am I being unreasonable in asking that my Adwords approval status be based only on sites that I'm actually advertising?
Reasonable or not, the google guys call the shots. For the rest of us mere mortals, we have to fall in line.
