Hi My websites were hacked two weeks ago and I've got warnings from Google stating that not only they were flagged for sending badware but also were de-indexed. My host did a nuke in my account and I re-built sites from scratch, manually, so that I made sure there won't be badware any more. However, one of these domains is expiring and from what I've read in Google's FAQ, re-index can take a long time... So, I wonder if I have any advantage in expiring domain renewal as I don't know if it'll be re-indexed for September; which is the period the site is most successful. Or else, should I buy a new domain and move all files to the new one and expect that since it's a new domain never hacked and never de-indexed, it'll re-index quickly and then I can expect not to lose too many visitors... What do you think? As for the other sites and thus domains, the question could apply...
Do you have a google webmaster tools account? If so, go into it and in the left hand column you will see a "submit for reconsideration" - or something like that. When you submit your site to be reconsidered, explain in as much detail as possible as to what happened. Make it very clear what the problem was, and what you did to fix it.
Thanks for the reply. It's done but I've read in Google's faq that it can take several weeks and before renewing a domain that is about to expire, I'd like to know if anyone experienced this and how many times did it take to have the site re-indexed. This way, I won't waste my money... and directly buy a new domain or take the site down forever...
