Re-designing my website

    Does it matter if the pages are html, or is wordpress ok.
    What does google think of wordpress sites like revolutiuon.
    What is the best format to redesign the site in.

    Wordpress is fine, I've got this site on revolution theme and its ranking very well.

    You should install something like Platinum seo pack if you go with wordpress.

    Both are ok but the SEO packs are very important

    If you're ranking well in search engines I am always against changing layout. You can severely damage rankings with changes.

    I agree with tacoX here.. I have seen people tweaking the homepage title and seeing a temporary decrease.. but they do get their SERPs back if the content is same.

    Wordpress is an excellent CMS and with the SEO plug-ins it becomes one of the best.
