As a Plimus vendor based in India, we are informing you that the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) recently outlined new requirements for governing the processing and settlement of export-related receipts facilitated by online payment gateways. In order to comply with the RBI guidelines, effective immediately Plimus is forced to take the following actions on your account:

    1. For purchases – the only purchase options your shoppers will now have are PayPal Wallet, Money Bookers, wire transfer, checks or European alternative payment methods
    2. For existing ongoing subscriptions – no effect – these will continue
    3. For new subscriptions – PayPal Wallet is now the only choice for purchase

Because these requirements are mandated by the government of India and the RBI, the changes have already been made to your order pages by our engineering team. We suggest you check them out and validate everything is working as described.

If you have been mistakenly identified as a solely India based vendor, please contact Vendor Support immediately so we can correct the error. Thank you for your continued use of Plimus as your e-Commerce platform.

    Regards,
    The Plimus Team.

Fu*k you corrupt Indian govt. Fu*k you Fu*kin RBI

Got similar update for CCNow as well. Even they stopped transactions for Indian merchant. Don’t know whats next with international gateway providers. It seems in such scenario Indian gateways would be the most reliable one. EBS seems a reliable & affordable alternative. Now we will have to be cautious for selecting appropriate solution for our payment processing

RBI is after small fish like us while the sharks deposit billions in foreign bank accounts. We are trying to make a honest money and RBI imposes 100 new restrictions on us...while they don't blink an eye when billions go through hawala route to these corrupt mafia Swiss banks.

If RBI is soo fair, why don't they ban dealings with Swiss banks which are known and proven to deal in black money? It proves they are not serious about anything and don't have balls to confront the banks that do these crooked transactions but they will go after small coders who work form 12 to 14 hrs a day to make a honest living.

All easy options are closed and we have to go to these crooked credit card companies for any transaction online again and pay higher interest rate. This sucks. RBI you suck big time

RBI is setting up the blocks foreign income to India for no reasons.
If its a leagal issue ,they have to form the norms. But not to stop payments.

And also RBI is doing favourable to work with credit card companies ( To pay for the products online )

RBI and Indian financing policies sucks!

It seems that RBI does not care about democracy, they are earning huge profits doing this.
