Rather specific situation and maybe stupid question about 301 redirection and Google Adsense...

    Hi everyone,

I have a question about adsense ads on a specific site.
    Here's it goes.
I had google adsense account for some time (4-5 years), with around 10 sites in it.
One of the domains was not appropriate and my whole account got banned. So I can't access it anymore.
Here's the deal. I know that google is ok with 301 redirection from one domain to another, but is it ok with this?
I have a unique magazine with a lots of paid articles from good writers, 3-5k visitors from google search, and that magazine is ok with adsense, but it was on that banned account.
Now I have another account on my girlfriends name.
I got new domain and copy all content from previous one.
Now I wonder, will google ban her account if I redirect with 301 traffic from that old domain to a new one?
Once again, old domain which is on banned account is ok with google terms and conditions.
    Thanks.

Yes, I think it is possible. If your account got banned because of certain domain and you'll be able to have a NEW Adsense account if the domain is 301 for a new domain. However, you'll not be able to reinitiate your old account or there is a chance of ban again if you use 301 your old domain which was inappropriate for good Adsense. But don't jump start now, wait for more replies, because experience matters those who already done such experiments and I'm taking on what I read on the internet.

    Thanks Navin,
That was my thoughts. Common sense brings me to conclusion that it should not be problem to redirect traffic from safe domain to a new one, even if that domain was on banned account.
But still... So I'm asking if anyone had similar situation.
    Thanks

I haven't been within this exact situation, but I believe you will be pretty safe to make a 301 redirect.

Imagine it that way, you can use any spammy domain and redirect it to some competitor?! ...in order to get him/her banned.
I think it is OK, as long as it is not connected in anyway to your old Adsense account.

p.s. if these 3-4K visitors a daily ones, you might find a better way of monetizing it :)

Well, I had in mind some affiliate programs, but cannot think of something within that niche.
I guess you will do better with adsense :)
...or maybe you could combine it with some amazon books or smth like that?

Idk, never tried affiliate programs. Maybe it could workout. I'll try anyway. Thanks for the tip.
Just to find out will I be ok if I redirect from one domain to another without consequences considering Google...
    Thanks once again!

In my opinion it will be OK with the redirect.
I really have no idea about affiliate programs in that niche. I am in the travel industry, but check out, guess you will find smth :)
    Good luck with your projects!
