Hello, I'm trying to get a general idea of how much an advertisers pay for their ad in an SMS message. The SMS would be sent by an question-and-answer service such as ChaCha (www.chacha.com) and would include a short sponsor message with the answer. What would be the CPM for that kind of advertising? ChaCha is an ad-supported service and I'm trying to get a grasp of their business model...considering that they pay their Guides (people who answer questions) from $.10 to $.20 per answer, it looks as if they have a very narrow margin...They have a brochure (http://akhost.chacha.com/siteimages/new_chacha/share/pdfs/chacha_ad_mediaKit.pdf) on the exact types of ads they run...Would appreciate any tips on this, thanks!
i am not sure. but its really good idea to send sms with sponsor link. if this market is area wise then it must have high CPM.
ChaCha does a lot of different kinds of marketing, including online video ads when users ask a guide through the internet (Such as a 2 minute ad while a guide answers a question). They also advertise in sneaky ways to add things to context.
