I just want to know how these logos are and do they meet the Web 2.0 standards. These logos were made for a artist who sells paintings. Please when you comment refer to the logos corresponding name, so that I can understand well. And also please tell me few guidelines to be followed to make a web 2.0 standard logo. Thank you.
I like the shapes in the first logo but dont like how they finish so ebruptly with the box around the "expressions, maybe you could conitinue these shapes down to the bottom of the "o" and make them more free and organic? I like expressions along the bottom like in the fourth one. I like the fourth logo but i dont think this would work for an artist, it is very contrived and more suited for a web design or office type business.
I guess I'm not sure how a static graphic or logo can meet web 2.0 standards. Isn't web 2.0 all about usability and rich media? Someone please correct me if I'm off base... But out of all your examples, I like the lightweight blue one the best. HOWEVER - it's hard to determine exactly what the blue part is supposed to say. But it does look good - it has nice visual balance.
When i look at your logos, i think you're experimenting enough with typography to achieve those logos. But you might want to look the way typography works is not just playing with shape and color / texture, but the composition itself. Anyway nice works bro, just need a little touch-up
seems like a logo for some indian company ...while dealing wih indian clisnts just make sure their logos look jazzy and colorful..... as far as the designs are concerned 4th one looks better....
I prefer the second one. It looks like uniqe (for me) and has friendly retro feeling. Of course depends on product.
First choice : 2nd logo Second choice : 4th logo Here is a link to help guide you with Web 2.0 : http://oreilly.com/web2/archive/what-is-web-20.html
i prefer logo #4, but i dont think it will represent the artist, perhaps you might consider a more loose font.
I like the 4th Logo, as it's easy to remember for everyone and readable also. Good play with the typography!
